Dr. John A. Coyne
DVM, University of Illinois, 1974
Dr. John Coyne is co-owner of Yorkville Animal Hospital. He was raised on a livestock grain farm in Central Illinois and was active in 4-H projects, during which he acquired a true passion for veterinary medicine. He graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 1974. Upon graduation, he managed Forest South Animal Hospital for 13 years and became owner of the hospital in 1987. For five years, Dr. Jeremy Buishas (seen below) was an associate there as well. In 2005, Dr. Coyne opened Midwest Animal Hospital located in Orland Park, IL. Dr. Coyne’s hospitals have enjoyed great success due to his practices’ superior performance in pet care and client relations. Now, he and Dr. Buishas are combining their experience and expertise to bring the best animal hospital to the Yorkville community.

Dr. Jeremy P. Buishas
DVM, Ross University, 1986
Dr. Jeremy Buishas is co-owner of Yorkville Animal Hospital. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois before graduating from Ross University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1986. He began practicing for a hometown veterianarian in the south suburbs of Chicago before joining the Glen Ellyn Animal Hospital in 1992. Dr. Buishas became sole owner of GEAH in 2003 and transformed it from a small general practice into the spacious state of the art hospital it is today. He and his wife are the proud parents of their three daughters. In his time away from the hospital, Dr. Buishas enjoys to go fishing and being outdoors.

Dr. Jason Long
DVM, University of Illinois, 2007
Dr. Jason Long grew up in a small rural community in Northwest Illinois and attended Northern Illinois University, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in biology and studied cell and molecular biology in graduate school. Dr. Long continued his education at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine where he gaduated with honors. His professional veterinary interests are internal medicine and laser surgery. He is a member of the Illinois State Veterinary Medicine Association and the Chicago Veterinary Medicine Association. Dr. Long is very active in his spare time, which he spends on the golf course, playing softball and participating in long distance races.

Dr. Roberta Milas
DVM, Kansas State University, 2007
Dr. Roberta Milas grew up in Rock Island, IL. She graduated from Augustana College, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology. She then continued her education at Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Her special interests include internal medicine, dentistry and preventative medicine. Dr.Milas enjoys spending her free time with friends, family and three chocolate labradors. She also enjoys skiing, horseback riding, boating and being outdoors.
